Are you a talented research technician with a passion for method development and medical research? Do you have experience with analytical techniques, preferably mass spectrometry, and are you ready to apply your expertise in an academic environment? Then this vacancy is for you!
We are seeking an enthusiastic research technician to strengthen our team at a leading academic research center. Our lab specializes in targeted metabolomics with and without the use of labeled stable isotopes to elucidate metabolic processes in humans. Therefore, the work is varied. The techniques you will work with include GCMS, GC-triple quadrupole MS, isotope ratio mass spectrometry (IRMS) and HPLC.
The aim of our research is to map metabolic processes and test the effects of interventions on these processes by using analytical chemistry and stable isotopes techniques. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary research teams focused on cutting-edge scientific questions in health and disease.
The department has an informal working atmosphere, and contact with colleagues is approachable. The working languages are both Dutch and English.
