Dr. Harsha Devalla’s group at the Amsterdam UMC is hiring a research technician.
Our lab has established robust approaches for differentiating iPSCs into various cardiac cell types and has spearheaded the development of integrated tissue systems.
Our projects are geared at understanding the molecular basis of heart rhythm disorders, with the ultimate goal of developing personalized therapeutic approaches. By using patient-specific iPSCs, we can recapitulate disease phenotypes in the dish, enabling us to uncover novel mechanisms underlying cardiac arrhythmias and identify potential therapeutic targets.

Dr. Devalla's group is based in the department of Medical Biology at location AMC, consisting of six independent research groups, a number of PhD students, research technicians and staff scientists. It is a very international, dynamic and collaborative environment with plenty of opportunities for personal and professional development.
Amsterdam UMC Research BV supports non-profit scientific research. In doing so, we provide researchers with everything they need to excel. Our principal investigators (PIs) and project leaders offer support in the field of project management, finance and human resources.
