The Emma Center for Personalized Medicine (ECPM) ECPM is looking for an ambitious and driven early-career independent researcher to join our team. You will work within the Ophthalmogenetics research section of the Department of Human Genetics, contributing to groundbreaking research focused on the development of innovative molecular therapies for rare neurometabolic disorders. For this position, we are looking for a researcher for Amsterdam UMC, location AMC. The Ophthalmogenetics research section is part of the Department of Human Genetics and the Emma Center for Personalized Medicine (ECPM). The ECPM focuses on innovative, individualized care and treatment for patients with rare genetic disorders of the eye, metabolic system, neurodevelopment, and immune system. New technologies and knowledge offer enormous opportunities to efficiently identify, treat, and provide tailored care for these rare conditions.
To realize this innovation and acceleration, collaboration and synergy are needed between doctors, researchers, paramedics, patients, and their families. At ECPM, we work together to shorten the time to diagnosis, alleviate the suffering of patients and their families, and prevent lifelong limitations through early intervention and effective therapy.
