You will conduct epidemiological research on patients receiving kidney replacement therapy across European countries, investigating its occurrence, patient characteristics, and clinical outcomes. By expanding our database with newly available variables, you will address important knowledge gaps and explore new research questions in the fields of dialysis and kidney transplantation. You will analyze data and publish your findings in scientific papers that will form the basis of your PhD thesis. By identifying differences between countries, your research may contribute to a better understanding of kidney care across Europe and support country-specific healthcare planning and prioritization.
Would you like to know more about the different phases within the PhD trajectory? You can read more about this on this page.
