The successful and promising clinical results of adoptive cell therapies with chimeric antigen receptor-engineered T cells (CAR-T cells) dictate for further advancements, which would enable their applicability for more patients and for more diseases. To attain broader relevance, our goal is to use iPSCs as a source of optimally effective and broadly applicable “off-the-shelf” CAR-T cells for the therapy of hematologic and other malignancies. Our ultimate goal is to implement our findings in GMP compatible manufacturing processes.

As a post-doctoral fellow your main tasks will be:
-to use induce pluripotent stem cells (iPSC), molecular biology techniques and employ gene-editing methodologies to generate an unlimited source of CAR-T cells.
-to perform functional, transciptional and epigenetic data gathering, processing and analyses
-to collaborate with and supervise technicians and students
-to present the study and results at national and international scientific meetings
-to write scientific papers
